Who We Are

Bringing the World's Finest Wines
Home to Malawi

We R Wines is Malawi's dedicated wine company — importers, distributors, and creators of the beloved Kumusha Wines label.

Our Mission

To make world-class wine accessible to every Malawian, while championing locally crafted wines that reflect our unique heritage and landscape.

Vision

To be the most loved wine brand in southern Africa — a name synonymous with quality, authenticity, and the warmth of Malawian hospitality.
Our Beginning

A Love Letter to Wine & Malawi

We R Wines was born from a simple but powerful belief: that Malawians deserve access to exceptional wines, and that our land has its own unique story to tell through the vine.

Founded in Lilongwe, we started as a small but passionate team of wine enthusiasts who saw an opportunity to transform Malawi's relationship with wine — not just as an imported luxury, but as a cultural experience that belongs to us.

Today, We R Wines is the proud producer of Kumusha Wines — a label that carries the spirit of home in every bottle — while also curating a selection of international wines for the discerning Malawian palate

Kumusha

"A word that means home in our language. Every bottle is crafted to carry that warmth — the familiar, comforting feeling of belonging."

The Kumusha Philosophy

Quality First

Every wine in our portfolio is carefully selected and tasted. We hold ourselves to uncompromising standards because our customers deserve nothing less.

Rooted Locally

We are proudly Malawian. From our Kumusha label to our events and partnerships, we invest in and celebrate the local community that makes us who we are.

Wine Education

We believe knowledge enhances enjoyment. Through tastings, blogs, and events, we are on a mission to grow wine literacy across Malawi.
